Sales Executive, Event Solutions
About the role
A Sales Executive within our Event Solutions division is needed. The primary responsibilities include developing and pursuing targeted Key Accounts, calling on and building relationships with new prospects, presenting products and services to new corporate accounts, exceeding new business bookings (NBB) targets, accurately forecasting sales opportunities, managing personal revenue pipeline, monitoring sales activity, ensuring customer satisfaction, and attending team meetings.
Responsibilities
- Develop and actively pursue list of targeted Key Accounts by creating individual plans of action to penetrate these accounts
- Call on and develop relationships with new prospects in an effort to meet and exceed individual and department revenue expectations
- Present products and services to new corporate accounts in your assigned territory
- Exceed established new business bookings (NBB) targets for software sales
- Accurately forecast sales opportunities in Salesforce.com
- Effectively and accurately manage personal revenue pipeline to maximize all new business opportunities
- Maintain and report sales activity within the system
- Work with Account Management and Client Services teams to ensure complete customer satisfaction with the Cvent product and organization
- Ensure relationships with key decision-makers for accounts that will provide new business are continuously developed and relationships are strengthened and grown
- Attend and engage in regularly scheduled team meetings and 1:1’s
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- At least 4 years of prior revenue generating software sales experience (more experience is desired)
- Industry experience in one or more of the following areas is highly preferred: SaaS, mobile apps, and analytics
- Highly motivated and goal-oriented
- Able to integrate knowledge across disciplines to include cold calling, consultative selling, product demonstrations, closing contracts, operation/process flow, and product function
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should have a strong background in sales and a proven track record of success in generating revenue. They should be able to integrate knowledge across various disciplines and possess excellent communication and relationship-building skills. A consultative selling approach is essential, along with the ability to present products and services effectively.

Pay
The estimated base salary range for new hires into this role is $50,000-$83,000 annually + commission depending on factors such as job-related knowledge, relevant experience, and location.
Schedule
This role is available on a Full-Time basis with the option of a Hybrid schedule.
