Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Actively seek out client sales opportunities and renewals through building client relationships, networking and developing strategies tailored to C-level executives goals and objectives.
- Create, maintain, and provide accurate and timely sales forecasts and funnel information.
- Create and execute strategies for quickly developing sales territory (Midwest/Northeast region).
- Create, maintain, and provide accurate and timely sales forecasts and funnel information.
- Articulate the value proposition of the product and service to convert prospects.
- Negotiate/close deals and handle objections.
- Participate on behalf of the company for trade shows and conferences.
- Travel to meet with prospective customers and markets within your territory.
- Collaborate with the team (Sales, Sales Engineers, Client Success Managers, Product, Finance) to achieve better results.
- As a mentor to Sales Executive team members.
Qualifications
- BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience.
- Demonstrable success of selling, building winning relationships and building new business pipelines are essential.
- High ethical standards and determination to succeed.
- Communication skills: Ability to communicate, present and influence credibly at all levels of the organization, including C-level.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communications.
- Sales Experience: 7+ years experience carrying or directly supporting a quota.
- Ability to travel 25-50%.
- Experience closing deals.
- Computer skills: Proficient at common office/MS applications and personal computing.
- Professional Drive: must have a strong sense of urgency and accountability to generate new sales.
- Technical Knowledge: Ability to articulate examples of learning technical products or solutions.
- Abstract Reasoning: Ability to analyze, assess and address prospects needs within the context of our products and services.
- Diligence to Sales Process and utilizing actively sales tools (Salesforce, Meddpicc process).
Desired Skills
- Previous sales experience within the financial technology industry.
- Experience targeting credit unions and banks for clients.
- Previous experience mentoring sales team members.
- Salesforce proficient.
