About the role

Meter is building the modern networking infrastructure that businesses like Lyft and Reddit rely on to stay connected. As an Enterprise Sales Engineer, you will partner with our Enterprise Sales team to bring better networks to more customers by using your technical expertise to win over the hearts and minds of IT and network engineers alike.

Responsibilities

  • Build relationships with the Sales team, including Sales reps and leaders, to support and lead technical discovery calls.
  • Design and build technical solutions for prospects that help our Sales team win deals.
  • Lead technical discovery calls to understand customer pain points and frustrations with their current legacy solutions.
  • Deliver world-class demonstrations that inspire and get buy-in across multiple stakeholders.
  • Partner directly with Account Executives to create urgency and drive deals forward.
  • Create and maintain internal training materials, reference architectures, and standardize documentation and training for core networking areas.
  • Translate customer feedback into product requirements for the Product team.

Requirements

  • Expert knowledge in TCP/IP, 802.11ax/be, TLS, DHCP, DNS, NAT, 802.1X, VPNs, SD-WAN, IDS/IPS, Multicast, OSPF, BGP & EVPN-VXLAN.
  • Experience with networking technologies and protocols.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and partners.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Highly motivated and results-driven.
  • Professional certifications in networking (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, CWNA, CWDP, CWSP, CWDE, JNCIA, JNCIS, JNCIE, Network+, Security+).

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in enterprise networking roles.
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth through technical sales and product translation.
  • Experience with designing and implementing complex networking solutions.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Passion for driving innovation and disruption in the networking industry.

  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
