The Timken Company is seeking talented engineers interested in a challenging and rewarding career in Sales. The Sales Engineering Development Program combines technical knowledge with commercial expertise to solve customer problems.

Training Program

• Comprehensive 6-month training program based in Corporate Headquarters in North Canton, Ohio
• Classroom and on-the-job training covering all aspects of The Timken Company's businesses and value selling techniques
• Placement into a sales office or territory within the United States upon completion of training

Responsibilities

• Independently manage a portfolio of business consisting of original equipment manufacturers, distributors, and end users
• Use technical and commercial expertise to solve customer challenges
• Offer The Timken Company's capabilities, products, and services
• Build strong relationships with customers
• Travel within your territory for work

Qualifications

• College graduate (December 2026 - May 2027)
• Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering or other related engineering degree
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above
• Engineering internships or co-ops preferred
• Demonstrated leadership experience in academic or extra-curricular activities, or during employment
