About the role

We are seeking a Sales Engineer to join Escape's NY office. This role involves bridging the gap between our business and tech teams, serving as the voice of our customers, and supporting their needs. With our recent $18M Series A funding, you will play a key role in scaling customer support and engagement as we grow.

Responsibilities

  • Assist customers in configuring and installing the platform, guiding them through the setup process and ensuring successful implementation
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to discuss their needs, provide technical support, and gather feedback
  • Educate customers on best practices and optimal use of the product while keeping them informed of new features and product updates
  • Work in tandem with the Sales Team to maintain customer satisfaction and upsell accounts
  • Collaborate with the Tech & Product Teams to identify opportunities for product improvements and shape the roadmap

Requirements

  • Proven Professional: 3+ years of experience in a deep tech environment, with 1 or 2 years in consulting a plus
  • Technical Background: Strong understanding of software or SaaS products, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues. Experience in Python required, back-end engineering preferred
  • Customer-Oriented: Passionate about helping clients succeed, with excellent communication skills and a knack for building strong relationships
  • Proactive Problem-Solver: Able to quickly identify issues and work through solutions independently or with the support of the engineering team
  • Team Player: Collaborates well with other teams, including engineering, product, and sales, to deliver the best possible outcomes for clients
  • Able to travel on-site: Enjoy visiting customers at conferences and their offices, hosting workshops, and running Proof of Concepts (POCs) for their team
