Job Summary

The Sales Enablement Manager sits at the center of go-to-market coordination for the U.S. field sales organization and serves as the voice of the sales organization across functions. Acting as an advisor to marketing and program owners, the role ensures that programs, products, and initiatives are structured and launched in a way that is operationally sound and executable in the field. It owns field-facing enablement platforms such as Showpad and the weekly CooperVision Sales Connection. This role is also a central funnel for field questions regarding programs and sales tools.

This is a developmental role designed to build cross-functional leadership capability and prepare high-performing individuals for future field sales leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the field sales advisor on go-to-market launches.
  • Partner with marketing and program owners as the voice of the sales organization, ensuring programs, products, and initiatives are operationally sound and executable in the field.
  • Support operations of the Plan of Action (POA) meetings. Coordinate content, agenda, and cross-functional inputs so each POA equips the field with clear priorities and messaging. Ensure POA meetings that translate strategy into field action.
  • Accountable for the structure, governance, and content currency of the Showpad platform. Ensure reps trust and use a well-governed platform.
  • Own field sales communications through the central communications channel (CSC). Ensure messaging to the field is concise, consistent, and coordinated across functions. Act as a central funnel to central funnel for field questions regarding programs and sales tools. Ensure the field is well-informed and not overloaded.
  • Liaise with the digital enablement and sales technology teams. Represent field needs so systems and tools evolve to serve the way reps actually sell. Ensure field requirements are heard and reflected as platforms mature.
  • Capture and channel the voice of the field. Establish mechanisms to gather field input on launches and tools, feeding insights back to leadership and cross-functional partners. Ensure a working feedback loop that keeps decisions grounded in field reality.
  • Coordinate launch readiness with the training and enablement team. Align communication and readiness so representatives are trained and prepared ahead of major launches, not just informed. Ensure the field is ready on day one.
  • Travel: Approximately 10%. Primarily headquarters-based coordination with regular field presence to maintain a genuine pulse on the sales organization.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 3-5 years in a field sales, sales support, or sales operations role, with demonstrated high performance and readiness for broader responsibility required. Experience supporting or contributing to go-to-market launches, cross-functional projects, or sales enablement initiatives preferred. Proven ability to achieve or exceed performance expectations and deliver business results. Proven ability to build customer relationships, influence stakeholders, and execute strategic business plans. Experience leading projects or serving as an informal leader preferred to drive sales execution and enablement. Experience within healthcare, vision care, medical device, pharmaceutical, consumer products, or related industries preferred. Experience utilizing Salesforce.com, Tableau, Allego, Showpad, strong skills with Excel, Powerpoint.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant field sales experience required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Demonstrated aptitude for influencing and collaborating across teams, with the ability to build trust and align others without direct authority.
  • Agility and adaptability — comfortable managing shifting priorities and multiple concurrent efforts.
  • Emerging project and program management skills, able to keep several workstreams organized and on track.
  • Solid understanding of field sales and the representative experience, ideally from direct field exposure.
  • Familiarity with digital sales tools such as Salesforce.com, Tableau, and Showpad preferred.
  • Exposure to go-to-market or product launch processes preferred.

Work Environment

Primarily an office / headquarters environment with regular travel to field locations and national meetings. Able to work long periods of time in a normal office environment, while sitting and working on a computer. Sedentary to light physical effort necessary to perform the job.
