About the role
Safe and Sound Security is a fast-growing commercial security integrator based in Walnut Creek, CA. We are expanding our sales team to support new opportunities and client success. We are seeking a motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our dynamic team.
Responsibilities
- Respond to inbound leads and conduct outbound outreach to identify potential clients.
- Qualify prospects and schedule meetings for Account Managers.
- Research and engage decision-makers across IT, facilities, construction, education, and commercial real estate.
- Maintain accurate activity and pipeline data in Salesforce.
- Collaborate with Account Managers and sales leadership to help achieve team goals.
- Support Account Managers with account research, follow-ups, and light administrative tasks.
- Participate in ongoing sales training and professional development.
Requirements
- 1+ year of experience in sales, business development, customer success, or similar role.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable speaking with decision-makers by phone, email, and LinkedIn.
- Highly organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Coachable with a growth mindset and a desire to build a career in sales.
- Experience with CRM tools (Salesforce preferred) is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required with relevant experience.
- On-site availability in Walnut Creek (Mon–Fri, 8–5).
