About the role
Zip Security is seeking a driven, talented Sales Development Representative to join our team. This role will own outbound prospecting to build pipeline and accelerate growth. Key responsibilities include identifying and researching prospective customers, initiating outbound communication, managing leads, collaborating with sales leadership, and representing Zip’s values and mission.
Responsibilities
- Identify and research prospective customers in targeted segments
- Initiate outbound communication (email, phone, LinkedIn) to engage prospects
- Manage inbound leads and qualify them through discovery calls
- Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to refine messaging and campaigns
- Book meetings and demos for Account Executives
- Maintain accurate records and activity logs in our CRM
- Gather market intelligence and share feedback with the team

Qualifications
- Experience in sales development or similar role
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
- Proficiency in CRM software
- Understanding of cybersecurity and technology industry trends

Schedule
Hybrid work schedule with 2-3 days in the office per week
