About the role

This position will be on the front line for generating interest in Red River’s service offerings. Sales Development Representatives make cold calls to prospects to identify decision-makers, qualify sales leads, and set up appointments for Account Executives.

Responsibilities

  • Uncover opportunities for Account Executives to sell innovative offerings for IT Managed Services, Cloud, Cyber Security, Voice solutions and More.
  • Make effective use of the telephone, email, LinkedIn, ZoomInfo, Outreach IO, social media and other sales tools.
  • Work to achieve monthly quotas for qualified sales opportunities.
  • Work closely with the Sales team to schedule meetings and uncover new sales opportunities.
  • Work closely with marketing to manage inbound sales leads and develop pipeline.
  • Live and breathe Outreach for lead and opportunity management.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of sales experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Ability to prospect for new business by phone on a daily basis
  • Ability to build professional rapport by telephone, email, and LinkedIn with prospects at Executive, or C level
  • Ability to uncover opportunities via phone conversation, email, LinkedIn through probing questions.

Preferred

  • Preferred experience using Outreach IO, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn - Sales Navigator Knowledge

Essential Elements

  • Desk Position: This position is an office position that requires remaining in a stationary position for multiple hours throughout the workday.
  • Office or Remote Position: This position requires the ability to continuously communicate with co-workers throughout the day utilizing Red River approved and/or provided communication tools and equipment.
