About the role

As a key member of the Sales Enablement team, the Sales Development Representative will drive new business by qualifying leads and setting up meetings for the sales team. This remote position is ideal for someone looking to grow within a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation: Research and identify potential customers using tools such as LinkedIn, company databases, and marketing platforms.
  • Outbound Prospecting: Conduct outbound cold calls, LinkedIn messages, and emails to prospective customers.
  • Qualifying Leads: Engage with prospects to understand their needs, pain points, and potential fit for our products or services using the SPICED sales methodology (Situation, Pain, Impact).
  • Schedule Meetings: Book qualified meetings and demos for the sales team to further pursue opportunities.
  • CRM Management: Maintain detailed records of interactions with prospects and leads in the CRM system.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to ensure alignment and optimize outreach strategies.
  • Follow-up: Diligently follow up with inbound leads who have expressed interest or have been nurtured by the marketing team.

Requirements

  • 2-year diploma or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in sales, customer service, or a related field (preferred).
  • Familiarity with B2B prospecting.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Confidence in making outbound calls and engaging with senior decision-makers.
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and lead generation platforms (e.g., Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Zoominfo, Salesloft).
  • Previous experience in SaaS or technology sales.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Degree in a business-related major (preferred).
