Sales Development Representative
About the role
The Sales Development Representative engages with customers through inbound and outbound calls and/or online channels. This role is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and/or technical support by resolving routine inquiries and issues related to client products and services. Responsibilities
- Manage a personal pipeline of prospects from initial outreach through qualification.
- Execute outbound prospecting strategies using phone, email, social media, and events.
- Respond to inbound leads with urgency, conducting deeper qualification conversations.
- Research accounts to understand key stakeholders, challenges, and buying signals.
- Collaborate with account executives to develop account-specific entry strategies.
- Schedule and participate in prospect meetings or demos, ensuring smooth handoffs.
- Track activity, conversion rates, and pipeline health in the CRM.
- Use AI-powered tools and market data to prioritize outreach and craft personalized messaging.
- Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly pipeline generation targets.
- Provide feedback to marketing on lead quality and campaign performance.

- Ability to commute to and work in our Nashville, TN office at least 2 days or more per week.
- A bachelor’s degree is preferred. (2+ years) experience in sales development, lead generation, or inside sales.
- Track record of consistently achieving or surpassing lead-to-opportunity conversion targets.
- Familiarity with account-based marketing (ABM) strategies.
Qualifications
- Strong communication and discovery skills, with experience engaging prospects across multiple channels.
- Proven success in meeting or exceeding prospecting or pipeline generation targets.
- Ability to research accounts, uncover prospect needs, and tailor messaging accordingly.
- A growing proficiency in applying AI and analytics to refine prospecting, improve conversion, and manage pipeline health.
- Experience working with CRM tools (Salesforce.com preferred) and sales engagement platforms.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to balance prospecting volume with quality.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with account executives and marketing teams.
Skills

Pay
The base salary range for this position is $18.13-$20.03/hr (pay rate will not be below the applicable minimum wage), plus incentives that align with individual and company performance.
Schedule
Work is generally sedentary in nature.
