About the role
Verkada is excited to announce its Account Executive Development Program, "Verkademy". As an SDR, you’ll be part of the fastest-growing company in Silicon Valley/SF with a quick promotion path into a closing role!
Ideal candidates should be passionate, high-energy, and self-starters capable of adapting in a fast-paced sales environment.
What You'll Do
- Possess and apply strong prospecting, qualification, and follow-up skills to convert leads into prospects
- Understand and address customer needs and business problems to effectively communicate Verkada’s solutions
- Generate sales-ready meetings and opportunities for Account Executives
- Accurately distribute leads and conduct thorough discovery for assigned Account Executives
- Utilize Verkada Salesforce.com systems and sales enablement tools according to company standards
- Achieve quota to ensure territory revenue and growth objectives
- Work in a fast-paced, changing environment while delivering quality opportunities and driving revenue
- Develop relationships quickly over the phone with both prospects and technical audiences
- Build cross-functional relationships and demonstrate strong team orientation
- Understand sales cycles and qualification criteria, and be able to identify and articulate customer issues and opportunities
What You Bring
- Highly motivated, driven, and self-starting individual with a desire to excel in Verkada’s sales organization
- Bachelor's degree or relevant working experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Experience with Salesforce.com and Outreach is a plus
- Willingness and ability to work onsite five days a week
- Eligibility to work in the U.S.
