Position Summary

HackerOne is hiring a Sales Development Representative, Enterprise to help build pipeline by engaging enterprise security leaders through strategic outbound prospecting. In this role, you will partner closely with Sales and Marketing to connect prospective customers with HackerOne’s industry-leading offensive security platform while developing the foundational skills needed for a successful career in cybersecurity software sales.

What You Will Do

  • Successfully complete a structured onboarding and training program while demonstrating Change Agility by quickly incorporating new tools, messaging, coaching, and feedback into your daily work as you develop foundational cybersecurity and sales expertise.
  • Apply First Principles Problem Solving to understand prospective customer challenges by asking thoughtful questions, challenging assumptions, and clearly articulating how proactive security, ethical hacking, and bug bounty programs help organizations reduce business risk.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Account Executives and Marketing to execute coordinated account-based prospecting strategies, applying Data-Driven Decision Making to prioritize target accounts, evaluate outreach effectiveness, and continuously improve pipeline generation.
  • Leverage modern sales technologies while applying an AI First mindset to improve prospect research, personalization, and follow-up using tools such as Salesforce, Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and AI-enabled workflows.
  • Build credibility with prospective customers through professional, informed, and consistent engagement with senior cybersecurity leaders across phone, email, and social channels.
  • Consistently meet or exceed monthly activity, qualified meeting, and pipeline generation goals while using performance metrics, coaching, and feedback to continuously improve your effectiveness.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience as a Sales Development Representative or in a similar outbound sales or business development role.
  • Strong written communication skills, including experience writing prospecting emails and conducting account research.
  • Experience executing outbound prospecting through phone, email, and social selling channels.
  • Experience using CRM platforms and sales engagement tools to manage activity and pipeline.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience prospecting into Enterprise accounts.
  • Experience in cybersecurity, SaaS, or another B2B technology environment.
  • Experience using Salesforce, Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or other AI-enabled sales technologies.

Compensation Bands

  • Tier Guide Tier B: $55-60k base, plus commission
