About the role
We’re growing our team and we’re excited to have you join us! You’ll be supporting our sales efforts by processing customer purchase orders, managing open orders, and ensuring timely and compliant deliveries.
Responsibilities
- Process customer purchase orders and coordinate product shipments
- Manage open orders for multiple customer accounts
- Review purchase orders and related documents for compliance
- Track material status throughout production and testing
- Confirm products meet required certifications and specifications
- Communicate with carriers/forwarders/logistics regarding customer shipments
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries and provide accurate information
- Support the sales team in achieving targets through follow-up and organization
- Collaborate with various departments to facilitate sales operations
- Research customer open orders against available credit
- Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and customer orders
- Provide general support to Sales Operations staff
- Occasionally travel for training and site visits
Requirements
- Possess a strong attention to detail and proficiency in data entry and management using ERP software and Microsoft Office applications
- Show strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Show excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Be able to self-motivate, take initiative, and maintain focus
- Have strong problem-solving skills
- Develop close working relationships with external and internal customers

- Have knowledge of sales department techniques and familiarity with compliance policies and regulations

Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Business, Sales/Marketing, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in a sales support or coordination role, customer service role, or a related field
- General computer experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Preferred: Working knowledge of sales coordination processes and techniques, general knowledge of Import/Export laws and regulations, and familiarity with ITAR and EAR regulations
