The Sales Coordinator assists in all activities of the hotel sales, provides support for sales-related projects, and enters data into our sales systems. You will collaborate with the sales team to ensure high levels of guest satisfaction while embodying our “ONE TEAM. ONE VISION.” philosophy. This role requires a hands-on approach, innovative thinking aligned with our mission, and a commitment to promoting and engaging with clients to meet and exceed company goals.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with sales inquiries from potential clients and customers seeking sleeping rooms, meeting space, food and beverage services, etc.
  • Conduct site tours to promote hotel facilities and services.
  • Partner with operations departments to ensure full participation in servicing accounts.
  • Provide personalized, friendly service to every guest and associate.
  • Complete all required training and adhere to all standard and property-specific brand standards.
  • Perform any other duties as requested by management to improve hotel operations and guest service.
  • Maintain confidentiality of company business functions, including financial status, guest information, and employee issues.
  • Ensure safety and security of guests, employees, and hotel assets, with knowledge of fire alarm systems and evacuation procedures.
  • Travel as needed for sales calls, meetings, and related activities.

Requirements

  • Ability to travel as needed for sales-related activities.
  • Physical ability to bend, reach, kneel, push, stretch, and lift/carry up to 25 pounds.
  • Capability to handle escalated issues within brand and company guidelines while de-escalating to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Finger dexterity for operating sales equipment, strong memory for sales details, and effective communication with leadership.
  • Ability to perform work for 8 hours in a sales capacity.
  • Near and far eyesight, ability to use/lift arms for up to 8 hours.
  • Clear verbal communication, basic hearing, and understanding of English.
  • Strong writing skills and the highest degree of integrity, humility, and adherence to the Golden Rule.
  • Ability to work with people from diverse cultures and backgrounds.
  • Organized, honest, and collaborative with a clean and professional appearance.
  • Flexible schedule availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as we operate 24/7.
  • Knowledge of and ability to report to scheduled shifts.
