About the role
Thomas E. Strauss, Inc., a family-owned hospitality company serving Lancaster County for almost 100 years, is seeking an energetic and organized Sales Coordinator to support our growing meetings, events, group dining, and hospitality sales efforts.
Responsibilities
- Respond to inquiries and help convert leads into booked business.
- Cook up contracts, proposals, event details, and client communications.
- Sell meetings, group dining, banquets, and special events.
- Build relationships with clients, group leaders, and community partners.
- Aid in sales outreach, prospecting, and business development initiatives.
- Maintain accurate information in CRM and booking systems.
- Collaborate with operations teams to ensure seamless event execution.
- Participate in site tours, networking events, trade shows, and sales activities.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of hospitality sales experience.
- Experience with meetings, events, group sales, catering, or related hospitality revenue streams.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Hightly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated, positive, and eager to grow within a hospitality sales career.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of CRM and booking systems.
