Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Build strong customer relationships and understand their evolving needs
- Provide fast, accurate support via phone, email, chat, voicemail, and Microsoft Teams
- Recommend additional and complementary products
- Aid customers with product suggestions, alternatives, and proprietary items
- Maintain orders before daily cut-off to ensure next-day delivery
- Assist with online order entry setup, training, and customer onboarding
Sales & Growth Enablement
- Partner with the Strategic Sales Manager to support segment-specific accounts
- Aid in prospecting and maintaining a healthy sales pipeline
- Identify opportunities to penetrate existing accounts with new products
- Support marketing campaigns and follow up on leads
- Attend select conferences and industry events to expand knowledge and visibility
Order & Data Management
- Enter customer orders into the ERP system with accuracy and speed
- Keep customer order guides updated and aligned with current needs
- Provide item maintenance teams with product setup information
- Assemble business review materials with value-focused content
Performance & Reporting
- Track progress toward performance metrics and budgeted goals
- Provide regular updates to management on sales activity and KPIs
- Analyze customer and category performance to identify improvement opportunities
- Share market insights and customer feedback to strengthen strategies
Skills Required

Qualifications & Experience
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree (required)
- Minimum 3 years in sales, sales support, customer service, or administrative roles (required)
- Experience in foodservice or food distribution (preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (required)
