Nucar Chevrolet is looking to hire a full-time Automotive Sales Consultant for its Chevrolet dealership. This role offers a customer-focused environment where integrity and community trust are prioritized.
About the role
As an Automotive Sales Consultant, you will sell and lease new and used vehicles. You will greet customers, explain vehicle features and benefits, discuss financing and leasing options, and ensure all paperwork is completed accurately. The role emphasizes ethical sales practices, problem-solving, and building long-term customer relationships to drive repeat business and referrals.
Responsibilities
- Sell and lease new and used vehicles at the dealership.
- Greet customers in the showroom or on the lot with a friendly and helpful demeanor.
- Explain vehicle features, benefits, financing, and leasing alternatives.
- Listen to customer needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Prepare and submit all required sales paperwork accurately.
- Prepare sold vehicles for delivery.
- Follow up with prospects consistently.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of vehicles and industry trends.
- Meet or exceed sales targets for gross profit, volume, and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to learn and apply federal, state, and local laws governing auto sales.
- Understanding of equity, vehicle values, and depreciation.
- 1-2 years of sales experience required; 2+ years preferred (higher-volume dealerships may require more).
- Customer-oriented with a focus on long-term career growth.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Goal-oriented team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Pay
$65,000–$125,000+ per year.
