About the role
Contribute to commercial excellence and operational efficiency across Thermo Fisher Scientific's organization. Lead a team to optimize sales processes, enhance productivity, and support revenue growth through data-driven insights and strategic initiatives. Partner with sales leadership, finance, and cross-functional teams to implement best practices, manage sales compensation programs, and ensure successful execution of commercial strategies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree plus 8 years of experience in sales operations, commercial excellence, or related business functions
- PREFERRED FIELDS OF STUDY: Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or related field
- 3+ years of experience leading and developing teams
- Advanced proficiency in CRM systems (Salesforce.com) and business intelligence tools (Power BI, Excel)
- Strong analytical and financial acumen with experience in sales compensation, quota management, and incentive programs
- Excellent project management skills with ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
- Demonstrated success implementing process improvements and operational excellence initiatives
- Strong communication and presentation skills for engaging with senior leadership
- Experience working effectively in a matrix organization
- Ability to analyze large datasets and translate findings into actionable business insights
- Strong business partnering skills and customer-centric mindset
- Travel up to 20% as needed
- Experience with territory alignment and sales planning processes
- Proficiency in developing dashboards, reports and analytics to drive business decisions
Compensation and Benefits
The salary range estimated for this position based in Massachusetts is $93,800.00–$154,700.00. This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
