Sales Clerk

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products and making purchasing decisions.
• Process sales transactions accurately using point-of-sale (POS) systems and handle cash, credit, or other payment methods.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the sales floor, including restocking shelves and arranging merchandise displays.
• Answer customer questions regarding products, pricing, and store policies in a professional and courteous manner.
• Support inventory control by receiving shipments, checking stock levels, and reporting discrepancies to management.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills and ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting and stocking.
• Prior experience in retail or customer service is preferred but not required.
