About the Role
FOX 2 Detroit is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented team player to join our Sales Team. As a Sales Assistant, you will play an important role in supporting the FOX 2 Sales Team and our efforts to drive revenue across all platforms. Your primary focus will be day-to-day support of Local Account Executives and Sales Managers while collaborating with digital sales, traffic, research, and other teams.

Responsibilities
- Support Account Executives with advertising order entry, revisions, and reporting in the WideOrbit Traffic system.
- Communicate with sales representatives and buyers regarding preempts, make-good offers, program changes, late runs, and other account activity.
- Provide weekly advertiser reports, including spot times and post reports.
- Collaborate with sales representatives and buyers to address invoicing, discrepancies, and collection issues.
- Support Sales Management with political advertising, including maintaining contracts, ensuring FCC documentation is complete, and verifying cash-in-advance payments.
- Collaborate with the Traffic department on advertising copy management.
- Support other station departments and initiatives as needed.
- Perform additional projects and duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a positive, professional approach.
- Comfortable working with numbers and data with a strong focus on accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to learn industry software, including WideOrbit, Media Sales, AOS, and other media platforms.
- Strong work ethic and collaborative, team-oriented approach.
- Associate or bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent work experience.

Pay
$21.65-24.05 per hour, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location.
