What You'll Do
- Work directly or indirectly with customer or company representative to assess a customer's needs and requirements to facilitate a successful quotation for the customers consideration
- Provide excellent customer service in quoting, and in vendor relations
- Establish methods and procedures to ensure productivity is maintained at an optimum level
- Completes daily tasks, supports with vendors and customers to meet goals
- Performs other duties as assigned
What You Bring
- Must have a high school education or equivalent experience
- 1-3 years of experience in sales in the aerospace industry
- Knowledge in OEM and general aerospace business environment
- Knowledge and understanding of aircraft parts and aerospace requirements
- Knowledge of inventory practices and general aerospace requirements regarding same
- Self-starter that shows initiative in improvements and in helping the company grow
- An understanding of and working knowledge of aerospace quality management practices and AS9120 requirements is helpful
- Must be computer savvy and learn company proprietary software programs
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects
- Solid communication skills, verbal and written
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work interdepartmentally
- Demonstrates strong customer service attitude and demeanor
- Teamwork and leadership skills to raise our sales levels in the department
Special Requirements
U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (Green Card holder) or asylee/refugee status as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) required. ITAR requirement 120.15. Some positions will require current U.S. Citizenship due to contract requirements. This position requires access to information that is subject to compliance with the International Traffic Arms Regulations ("ITAR") and/or the Export Administration Regulations ("EAR").
