Sales, Area Manager - Image Guided Therapy Device System Sales (MD/DE/DC)
About the role
The Area Manager is responsible for leading business development/acquisition activities to drive sales within assigned territory and uncover ways to pull through sales of existing core products amongst Imaging and Therapy devices. Your Role is to sell Philips Image Guided Therapy Device (IGT-D) technology and services in the amounts required to meet or exceed assigned quotas, thereby maintaining and constantly improving the company's competitive position.
Responsibilities
- Sells Philips Image Guided Therapy Device (IGT-D) technology and services in the amounts required to meet or exceed assigned quotas
- Achieve deep and thorough account penetration and develop new target accounts
- Understand the strategic context of the customer and the markets in which Philips IGT competes
- Communicate with, align, and collaborate with the extended Philips team to execute on the Account strategy
- Builds relationships at all levels within the customer organization and utilizes a higher level of customer call point to build robust relationships with decision makers
- Develops disposable and service pricing per guidelines and in conjunction with the RSM
- Develops and manages key customer relationships
- Serves as the primary point of contact for customers, including physicians, staff, and administrators
- Provides clinical training and education to customers
- Aids in the development and execution of regional hospital staff training courses
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in the industry segment with a successful track record in customer relationship and account management
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Proven selling and customer relationship management skills with the ability to navigate a complex sales process to include stakeholders/partners
- Strong clinical and technical knowledge, with the confidence to knowledgably engage key stakeholders such as physicians, clinical staff, nurses, department managers and supply chain to present a value proposition
- A professional presence that influences desired results with both external and internal stakeholders
- Able to effectively manage assigned accounts in terms of driving utilization, customer relationship management, problem resolution, and business planning

Details about our benefits can be found here. Total Target Earnings is composed of base salary + target incentive. At 85% to 120% performance achievement, the Target Earning potential is $231,250-$295,000 annually, plus company fleet/car. Total compensation may be higher or lower dependent upon individual performance.

Schedule
This role is a field role. The company believes that they are better together than apart, and for their office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
