Sales, Area Manager/Capital Sales - Device Systems Sales - Image Guided Therapy Devices (MS, AL and Northern FL)
About the role
The Area Manager is responsible for leading business development and acquisition activities to drive sales and uncover opportunities for existing core products among Imaging and Therapy devices. They collaborate with cross-functional Philips teams to align on and execute account strategies.
Responsibilities
- Drive and grow total revenue across capital, disposables, and service in the assigned territory.
- Deepen existing account penetration and develop new target accounts in alignment with company objectives.
- Demonstrate strong understanding of customer strategy and the competitive market landscape in which Philips IGT operates.
- Build and maintain relationships at all levels of customer organizations, establishing executive-level connections with key decision-makers.
- Develop pricing strategies for disposables and services in partnership with the Regional Sales Manager (RSM), and manage key customer relationships across physicians, clinical staff, and administrators.
- Deliver clinical training and educational support to customers, including dissemination of technical product information.
- Contribute to the development and execution of regional hospital staff training programs.
Requirements
Requires a Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent experience with 5+ years of capital sales experience, preferably within the Interventional Space. Strong clinical and technical expertise, with the ability to engage physicians, nurses, clinical staff, department leaders, and supply chain stakeholders, is essential. Must be able to manage assigned accounts effectively, including driving utilization, customer relationship management, problem resolution, and business planning.

Pay
Total Target Earnings is composed of base salary + target incentive. At 85% to 120% performance achievement, the Target Earning potential is $230,000 to $275,000 annually, plus company fleet/car. Total compensation may be higher or lower dependent upon individual performance.
Schedule
This role is a field role with up to 75% travel. Office-based teams work in-person at least 3 days per week, while field roles are typically performed outside of the company's main facilities, generally at the customers' or suppliers' locations.
