Sales and Marketing Representative - MediGold

About the Role

The Sales-Marketing Representative conducts sales activities and implements strategies to increase membership in Mount Carmel Health Plan's (MCHP's) Medicare Advantage insurance products (HMOs/PPOs).

Responsibilities

• Develop sales territory through key senior and community contacts to heighten awareness of MCHP products.
• Manage all aspects of daily sales operations, including educational meetings, special events, sales seminars, and telesales activity.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, CMS, Ohio Department of Insurance, NCQA, and all applicable Federal regulations.
• Report sales activities, problem issues, and targeted resolutions routinely.
• Follow up on all leads for sales closures via phone, in-office, and external consumer engagements.
• Participate in routine staff meetings covering sales issues, goals, education, job assignments, and quality improvement strategies.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in marketing, nursing, social work, education, or related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
• Active State Insurance License (Health/Disability). Must pass the state license exam for Accident and Health Insurance prior to starting and obtain full licensure within 30 days.
• Experience with governmental agencies and regulations, especially Medicare and CMS.
• Effective communication skills.
