Sales and Marketing Account Manager
About the role
Expand and grow our customer base by recruiting new referral sources and trade partners. Maintain and grow existing referral relationships with insurance agents, property managers, plumbers, and others through office visits and various promotions held throughout the year.
Initiate marketing strategies that support and grow the company's sales objectives. Plan and organize multiple marketing promotions and contests annually. Develop and maintain accurate customer files, notes, and track marketing activities. Coordinate, promote, plan, and prepare for continuing education (CE) classes for insurance agents. Track and reward existing referral sources with lunches, prizes, and other incentives. Maintain and promote company social media accounts. Order and maintain inventory of promotional products and materials. Plan and execute community-based marketing events such as golf tournaments, chamber events, charitable events, and more. Join and participate in referral networking through service organizations (e.g., Rotary) and referral network groups (e.g., BNI).
Requirements
- Prior experience in face-to-face sales and marketing
- Proficient with computer software programs including MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), Xactimate, and Dash
- Prior experience or knowledge in disaster restoration
- Highly competitive, positive, and results-driven
- Great presentation skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Able to receive and implement coaching feedback with a good personality and attitude
- College education is preferred but not required
