Sales and Events Manager
About the role
The Sales & Events Manager at Ascension Coffee Company is responsible for driving revenue growth throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth market, with a primary focus on expanding wholesale coffee partnerships with restaurants, offices, and other businesses, while also increasing catering sales and private event bookings across our café locations. This role is ideal for a highly motivated professional with a proven track record in outside sales, business development, and relationship management.
This is a full-time, salaried exempt position reporting directly to the Director of Operations. The Sales & Events Manager works closely with the Director of Culinary, Marketing Manager, Roastery Team, and Café General Managers to develop and execute sales strategies, enhance client experiences, and support overall business growth.
Qualifications
- Passion for specialty coffee, hospitality, food, and beverage experiences.
- 3–5 years of sales experience, preferably in coffee, foodservice, catering, or hospitality.
- Proven ability to generate leads, build relationships, and close business.
- Self-starter with excellent organization and time-management skills.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Comfortable working independently and in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, CRM platforms, and related technology tools.
- Collaborative team player who values feedback and open communication.
- Willingness to travel locally throughout DFW and attend 1–2 industry events annually.
- Available to work some evenings and weekends for events.
