Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape.
- Prepare proposals for clients.
- Meet sales targets and business development objectives.
- Analyze market data to support strategic planning and decision-making.
- Develop and implement strategies to generate leads and build a strong sales pipeline.
- Attend industry events, conferences, and networking functions to establish relationships with potential clients and partners.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Understand client needs and tailor solutions to meet their requirements.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop effective sales strategies and promotional campaigns.
- Establish sales goals and monitor performance against targets.
- Prepare and deliver compelling proposals and presentations to prospective clients.
- Negotiate contracts and service terms to ensure mutually beneficial agreements.
- Track and analyze business development metrics to measure success and identify areas for improvement.
- Prepare regular reports for senior management regarding business development activities, progress, and outcomes.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in business development, preferably in the oil and gas, petrochemical, or chemical industries.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
