Sales Account Representative
About the role
Supermicro Computer is seeking a Sales Account Representative with experience in selling technical solutions and developing business. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in winning enterprise-level relationships and consistently meet or exceed sales targets.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain sales account management, provide technical and administrative product information
- Perform daily clerical and office maintenance tasks, such as typing correspondence, coordinating, data entry, quotations, and document processing
- Monitor inventory, follow up on estimated time of arrival (ETA) with purchasers, and provide feedback to internal departments for any discrepancies
- Act as a liaison between sales, purchasing, production, procurement, and logistics departments
- Assist with intra-company project coordination between sales and non-sales departments
- Enter, monitor, and communicate directly with clients regarding order status, handle credit issues, and negotiate returns
- Develop superior customer service relationships with prospects, compose reports, and send them to clients daily
- Provide backup support for the manager and team members
Qualifications
- Ace degree is required, a bachelor's degree is preferred
- One to two years of customer service experience in the tech industry is desired
- Experience in data entry with strong attention to detail
- Familiarity with scheduling production and tracking orders
- Strong communication skills, effective both verbally and in writing
- Expertise in Excel

Pay
The salary range for this position is $70,500 - $80,000. The exact salary will depend on various factors including location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as bonus and equity award programs.
