Sales Account Representative
About the role
Supermicro Computer is seeking a Sales Account Representative with experience in selling technical solutions and building enterprise-level relationships.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Maintain sales accounts and provide technical and administrative product information
- Perform daily clerical and office maintenance tasks, such as typing correspondence, coordinating, data entry, quotations, and document processing
- Monitor inventory, follow up on estimated time of arrival (ETA) with purchasers, and provide feedback to internal departments for any discrepancies
- Act as a liaison between sales, purchasing, production, procurement, and logistics departments
- Assist with intra-company project coordination between sales and non-sales departments
- Enter, monitor, and communicate directly with clients regarding order status, handle credit issues, and negotiate returns
- Develop superior customer service relationships with prospects and compose reports to send to clients on a daily basis
- Provide backup support for the manager and team members
Qualifications
- Average of 1 year of customer service experience in the tech industry is desired
- Experience in data entry with strong attention to details
- Possess strong communication skills, able to communicate effectively and professionally through phone, email, verbal, and presentations across multiple disciplines, cultures, and geographies
- Strong organizational skills and a consistent track record of meeting or exceeding assigned goals
- Expert knowledge of Excel

Benefits
The salary range for this position is $70,500 - $80,000. The salary offered will depend on various factors including location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees in this role. Additional benefits include a comprehensive benefits package and the possibility of participating in bonus and equity award programs.
