About the role
We are seeking a Safety Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to workplace safety and health, and will be responsible for implementing and maintaining safety protocols.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Develop and implement safety training programs for employees.
- Coordinate emergency response plans and conduct drills as necessary.
- Collaborate with other departments to improve overall workplace safety.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in a related field such as occupational safety, environmental science, or a similar discipline.
- At least 3 years of experience in a safety-related role.
- Knowledge of OSHA standards and best practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
Skills
- Knowledge of workplace safety regulations.
- Experience with risk assessment and hazard identification.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.

Pay
