Aarcher Talent is seeking a Health & Safety Partner for our client in De Soto, Kansas. This position will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive occupational health and safety programs within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The role will work closely with leadership, employees, contractors, and vendors to ensure OSHA and regulatory compliance, identify and mitigate workplace hazards, and promote a strong safety culture. The ideal candidate will have a manufacturing background, experience developing safety procedures and conducting incident investigations, strong OSHA knowledge, and a demonstrated commitment to workplace safety, continuous improvement, and operational excellence. Responsibilities Develop, implement, and maintain occupational health and safety (OHS) programs, policies, and procedures.Conduct risk assessments, audits, inspections, incident investigations, and root cause analyses.Ensure compliance with OSHA and applicable federal, state, and local safety regulations.Support emergency response planning, drills, and readiness activities.Deliver safety training and coach employees, contractors, and vendors on safe work practices.Partner with cross-functional teams to identify hazards and implement corrective actions.Monitor safety performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.Maintain required safety documentation, permits, and reports. Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health & Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).2+ years of health and safety experience in manufacturing, industrial, or construction environments.Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety standards.Experience with risk assessments, incident investigations, and safety training.Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Proficiency with Microsoft Office.Ability to respond to site emergencies as needed. Preferred CSP, CIH, HAZWOPER, First Aid/CPR, ISO 45001, or related certifications.Experience supporting manufacturing startups, commissioning, or high-hazard operations.Familiarity with EHS management systems and continuous improvement methodologies.
