Responsibilities
- Serve as the project's primary safety professional and technical advisor to project management, field leadership, contractors, and client representatives.
- Administer and enforce STV's health, safety, and environmental policies, procedures, and standards.
- Develop, implement, and maintain site-specific safety plans, procedures, and programs that support project objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Foster a proactive safety culture that emphasizes accountability, hazard recognition, risk reduction, and continuous improvement.
- Lead safety planning, compliance monitoring, incident prevention, investigations, training, and risk mitigation efforts across all phases of construction.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in occupational safety, Environmental Health & Safety, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 8+ years of construction safety experience, including experience supporting large commercial, industrial, infrastructure, mission critical, or data center construction projects.
- Strong working knowledge of OSHA regulations, industry standards, and construction safety best practices.
- Experience conducting incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action management.
- Proven ability to build relationships and influence safe behaviors across all organizational levels.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and safety reporting systems.
Preferred
- Data center, mission-critical, semiconductor, battery manufacturing, hyperscale, or similar high-tech construction experience.
- OSHA 500/510 certification.
- OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification.
- CSP (Certified Safety Professional).
- CHST (Construction Health and Safety Technician).
- ASP (Associate Safety Professional).
- First Aid/CPR/AED certification.
- Experience working within multi-employer construction environments.
