TRC is seeking highly motivated and diverse Environmental Interns for our Summer 2027 intern program. This is a paid full-time position. Anticipated duration will be from June through August 2027 (flexible). This position has the potential to transition into a Full-Time role upon graduation. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of Project Managers and Team Leaders and partner with engineers, scientists, and technologists.

Responsibilities

• Assist with improving process efficiency, automating data extraction, reporting and analysis of environmental data.
• Conduct research, work on client software planning and implementation projects.
• Provide support with an interest in learning and education.
• Support the preparation of reports, plans and specifications for clients.
• Be supported by leaders, mentors and teammates.
• Perform other related duties and responsibilities as necessary.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Junior, senior, or master's student pursuing PhD, Masters, Bachelor or Associate Degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science or similar or any related Science field.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Excellent critical thinking, verbal and written communication skills.
• Analytical background.
• Experience with Microsoft products (e.g. Excel, SharePoint, Teams, Power Automate, PowerBI, etc.).
• Python or similar, OpenAI/Claude or similar, Excel, SQL, SQL Server Management Studio, R or similar.
• Possesses solid technical and problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated, detail‑oriented person.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
• Honest, fun, hard‑working and ready to learn and grow.
• Any experience with workflow mapping and/or use of Mural or similar software a plus.

Pay

Salary Range: USD $20.00 - USD $28.00 per hour.
