About the role
The Hiring Our Heroes Fellowship Opportunities are available for Cohort 26.3 (September 8th, 2026 – November 19, 2026) for our Supply Chain Solutions division. This opportunity is exclusively for those enrolled in a “Hiring Our Heroes Fellowship Program” offered to active military participants through a military branch.
Responsibilities
- Develops compliance programs and employee safety management systems for programs/initiatives.
- Conducts hazard analysis, evaluation, and develops solutions for issues and problems related to employee safety and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborates on/facilitates facility safety-related occurrence root cause investigations and implements appropriate corrective actions.
- Coordinates employee and management SHS training and development needs.
- Supports Ryder facilities with day-to-day compliance support, including performing facility audits.
- Supports Ryder operations team in leading SHS issues.
- Participates and hosts vertical-specific training and calls.
- Develops location safety supervisors.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Transitioning service members must be within 180 days of transition from military service at the time of the 12-week program.
- Currently participating in DoD Skillbridge program through the Hiring Our Heroes Fellowship.
- 2+ years in Training / Leadership background (preferred).
- 2+ years in driving various PIT equipment (required).
- Basic knowledge of OSHA and warehouse safety practices, OSHA 30 preferred.

- Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors).

Pay
- Pay Type: Salaried
- Minimum Pay Range: $65,000.00
- Maximum Pay Range: $80,000.00
