About the role

The Hiring Our Heroes Fellowship Opportunities are available for Cohort 26.3 (September 8th, 2026 – November 19, 2026) for our Supply Chain Solutions division. This opportunity is exclusively for those enrolled in the “Hiring Our Heroes Fellowship Program” through a Military Branch.

Responsibilities

  • Develops compliance programs and employee safety management systems for programs/initiatives.
  • Conducts hazard analysis, evaluation, and develops solutions for issues and problems related to employee safety and regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborates in facility safety-related occurrence root cause investigations and implements appropriate corrective actions.
  • Coordinates employee and management SHS training and development needs.
  • Supports Ryder facilities with day-to-day compliance support, including performing facility audits.
  • Participates and hosts vertical-specific training and calls.
  • Develops location safety supervisor roles.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Transitioning service members must be within 180 days of transition from military service at the time of the 12-week program.
  • Currently participating in DoD Skillbridge program through the Hiring Our Heroes Fellowship.
  • 2+ years of experience in Training / Leadership background.
  • 2+ years of experience in operating various PIT equipment.
  • Basic knowledge of OSHA and warehouse safety practices, OSHA 30 preferred.

Skills

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors).

Pay

  • Compensation range: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 annually.

Schedule

  • Yes, 30-40% travel required.
