About the role
The Safety Department at R+L Carriers, Wilmington, OH Service Center, is seeking a Safety Compliance Coordinator to review and process DOT & Non-DOT drug testing results and assist in general Safety Administrator responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Review and process DOT & Non-DOT drug testing results
- Aid in general Safety Administrator responsibilities, including handling phone calls, citations/inspections, vehicular accident events, call-in complaints, and injury reports
- Manage day-to-day operations after business hours
- Prepare and edit correspondence, reports, and provide quality customer service
- Cook up and coordinate first responders to serious crash event scenes
- Answer phone calls/emails in a timely and professional manner
- Accurately report the details of overnight events
- Accomplish other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Field phone calls / email follow-up regarding crash events, spills, violations, citations, driver qualification, and ELD issues
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the office after business hours
- Provide thorough communication via reports, email, and verbal follow-up with staff regarding PM and weekend recorded incidents
- Organize and maintain files and records
- Prepare and edit correspondence, reports
- Provide quality customer service
- Cook up and coordinate first responders to serious crash event scenes
- Daily Responsibility: Answer all phone calls/emails in a timely and professional manner. Accurately report the details of the overnight events. Accomplish other duties as assigned
- Office Skills: Ability to learn in-house/external computer programs; such as Risk master, Legacy, Pathfinder, and Corrective Action Dashboard; Efficient in Microsoft Office Products; Word, Excel and PowerPoint; Able to handle high volumes of phone and email communication; Triaging communication to correct person or department; Must work in a confidential capacity; Time management skills; Prioritizing deadlines
Qualifications
- Minimum: High School Diploma or Equivalent GED
- Other Duties: Other ad hoc, temporary, and permanent duties as assigned
Skills
