Safety Coordinator

Sodexo Energy & Resource is seeking a Safety Coordinator to drive a safety culture for an Oil & Gas client in Bartlesville, OK. This position supports safety management and compliance, ensuring legal adherence to all Federal, State, and Local regulations.

This role offers a chance to champion workplace safety by managing and delivering comprehensive training programs that foster a culture of awareness and continuous improvement. You will ensure compliance with safety standards while collaborating with cross-functional teams to protect employees and enhance operational safety practices. As an individual contributor, you will focus on completing specific tasks and projects, contributing directly through your skills and expertise. Work is primarily achieved independently but may involve collaboration with a team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the safety training program to ensure smooth and effective delivery.
• Coordinate and deliver mandatory safety training tailored to company policies and specific site requirements.
• Maintain accurate training records, track completion rates, and ensure all documentation complies with regulatory standards.
• Support internal safety audits and assist with timely follow-up on corrective actions.
• Foster a safety-first mindset through targeted awareness campaigns and regular safety communications.
• Partner with operations and HR teams to integrate comprehensive safety orientation into the onboarding process.
• Stay current on regulatory changes to update training materials accordingly.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required; equivalent experience may be considered.

Pay

$23.50 per hour - $30.41 per hour
