Safety Coordinator

About the role

Alamo Concrete Products Company, ACP, is headquartered in San Antonio, TX with 8 Divisions throughout the Greater Central/South Texas Region. ACP produces and delivers concrete and operates Aggregate Quarries that supply concrete, aggregate (rock) and sand to the batch plants. We are seeking a Safety Coordinator to join our Corporate Office in San Antonio, Texas, located on the Northside.

Responsibilities

• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee and company information
• Monitor company vehicles through the Geotab fleet management system
• Maintain safety records and documentation
• Track workplace accidents, incidents, and workers' compensation claims
• Cook up safety training and maintain compliance records
• Serve as the company's Designated Employer Representative (DER) for the drug and alcohol testing program
• Prepare and submit monthly safety reports, training records, and labor hours

Requirements

Required Skills and Experience:

• A High School Diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred
• Familiarity with OSHA, MSHA, and DOT regulations
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
• Some travel may be required
