About the role
The Warehouse Safety Supervisor plays a crucial role in ensuring a safe working environment for all employees within the warehouse. This position is part of Ryder's Supply Chain Solutions division and is responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring safety policies, procedures, and programs.
Responsibilities
- Lead site safety programs and compliance through SafetyNet, including Emergency Action Plans, Hazmat, and CTPAT requirements.
- Maintain OSHA 300 logs and annual ITA submissions; support OSHA interactions when required.
- Support incident and near-miss investigations by gathering information and completing reports.
- Conduct daily safety walks, inspections, behavioral observations, and hazard observations.
- Manage, audit, and support Forklift Training Program.
- Oversee Workday safety training compliance and ensure completion of all required courses within site timelines.
- Conduct and track monthly/quarterly audits, inspections, and corrective actions.
- Perform other duties as required.
Requirements
- H.S. Diploma/GED
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, preferred
- 1 year or more in Driving PIT equipment
- 3 years or more in Relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, warehouse or industry-related field, preferred
- 1 year or more in Training and/or leadership
- Microsoft Office Intermediate
- OSHA 30 Intermediate, preferred

Pay
- Pay Type: Exempt / Salary paid Twice Per Month
- Annual Salary Pay: $65,000 - $70,000 per year based on experience
Schedule
- 1st Shift: Monday - Friday: 7:00 am – 5:00 pm
