About the role

An Independent Doctor of Optometry affiliated with LensCrafters (Luxottica) seeks an Associate Optometrist. You will work within the practice of a LensCrafters Subleasing Optometrist as an employee or contracted doctor.

Responsibilities

- Provide comprehensive optometric care to patients - Perform eye examinations and prescribe appropriate lenses and treatments - Maintain patient records and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations - Collaborate with the Subleasing doctor to ensure continuity of care

Requirements

- Doctor of Optometry degree from an accredited program - Current license to practice optometry in South Carolina - At least one year of recent clinical experience - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Qualifications

- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of optometry - Ability to work independently and manage a caseload - Flexibility to work part-time schedules

Skills

- Proficient in using digital eye examination technology - Knowledgeable about the latest advancements in eyewear and lens technology
