About the role

An Independent Doctor of Optometry affiliated with LensCrafters (Luxottica) seeks an Associate Optometrist. You will work within the practice of a LensCrafters Subleasing Optometrist as an employee or contracted doctor.

Responsibilities

- Provide comprehensive optometric care to patients. - Perform eye examinations and prescribe corrective lenses. - Maintain professional autonomy and full scope of practice. - Negotiate terms of agreement, practice model, pay, and hours directly with the Subleasing Doctor. - Work flexible schedules including part-time commitments or adding to an existing practice schedule.

Requirements

- Current license to practice optometry in South Carolina. - At least 2 years of recent clinical experience. - Strong interpersonal and communication skills. - Ability to work independently and manage a caseload.

Qualifications

- Completion of an accredited optometry program. - Board certification in optometry preferred but not required.

- Proficiency in using digital eye examination technology. - Excellent organizational and time management skills. - Strong customer service orientation.
