Key Responsibilities
- Manage all daily operations of the RV service department.
- Supervise, train, coach, and develop service technicians and support staff.
- Monitor technician productivity, efficiency, and quality of work.
- Schedule and assign work to maximize department performance.
- Ensure repairs are completed accurately, safely, and within promised timeframes.
- Review and approve repair orders, warranty claims, and service documentation.
- Maintain excellent customer relations and resolve escalated concerns professionally.
- Monitor department performance metrics, including labor sales, gross profit, technician efficiency, and customer satisfaction scores.
- Cook up and implement processes that improve department efficiency and profitability.
- Manage service department budgets and expenses.
Qualifications
- Required: 3+ years of management experience in RV or related service operations.
- Preferred: RV industry experience, manufacturer certification experience, and preferred experience with IDS dealership management system.
