Rural Health Care Pathways Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, monitor, track, and provide status reports on grant activities.
• Coordinate steering committee and partner meetings.
• Collaborate with K-12 Schools and employer partners to market, publicize, and expand healthcare pathways and programs.
• Develop and implement collaborative, meaningful, and structured work-based learning (WBL) experiences for K-12 and post-secondary students, including guest speakers, career fairs, job shadowing, mentoring/coaching, field trips, clinical experiences, externships, and internships.
• Organize and implement student recruitment and marketing activities.
• Develop and implement career pathway programs through dual enrollment and flexible options for adult learners.
• Develop outreach programs focused on promoting knowledge of careers in healthcare and developing interest in the career pathways offered by the grant.
• Represent the college as appropriate on external boards, councils, and committees.
• Provide training to students, staff, educators, and industry partners.
• Work closely with administration to maintain project timeline, implement key objectives, purchase equipment and materials, track expenses, and maintain grant budget.
• Assist with the development and maintenance of institutional processes and procedures to ensure accreditation agency compliance with related programs.
• Assist with prospective students’ enrollment needs and have knowledge of the entire process, including admissions requirements, evaluating education credits, and financial aid.
• Perform additional duties directly related to healthcare pathways grant activities.

Pay

Coordinator 4, $51,508 - $66,965 (commensurate with Tennessee College of Applied Technology salary guidelines).

Schedule

Normal standing, sitting, and walking; occasional lifting of boxes/items weighing approximately 40 lbs.
