Runner

About the role

The Runner supports the local Operations team with light maintenance tasks, housekeeping support, running supplies to field staff, and any other duties requested by management to ensure the portfolio of homes is ready for guests.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Operations team in preparing homes for guest check‑in and check‑out.
• Travel between units delivering supplies to housekeepers, maintenance teams, and others; aid guests and run errands.
• Perform unexpected tasks as needed, including basic maintenance and tasks in homes.
• Remove trash from homes.
• Order, maintain, and replenish maintenance supplies and inventory.
• Complete various maintenance tasks such as appliance/cable/Wi‑Fi troubleshooting, cleaning hot tubs, and replacing light bulbs.
• Maintain company Standard Unit Appearance, correcting inconsistencies.
• Assist housekeeping as needed by completing cleans.
• Establish and maintain open, collaborative relationships with local team members and regional leadership.
• Provide cross‑coverage for team members when necessary.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Experience working in hotel, hospitality, vacation, or similar industry is highly preferred.
• Prior experience in maintenance or housekeeping is a bonus.
• Tech‑savvy with experience using various digital systems, applications, mobile apps, tablets, and software platforms.
• Reliable personal transportation is essential for frequent travel between worksites.
• Dependable, self‑motivated, able to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team environment.
• Comfortable communicating with people online or in person, sharing information clearly and thoughtfully to represent the company positively.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Flexibility for early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as schedules change based on guest and homeowner needs.
• Ability to move freely (balancing, climbing, crawling, driving, squatting, standing, stooping, walking, bending, pushing, pulling, reaching, repetitive hand/finger motions) and lift up to 50 pounds without assistance.

Pay

$22.50 per hour plus a $100 per month auto stipend.
