About the role

The Hudson Garden Grill at the New York Botanical Garden is seeking a Runner to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our service staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring our guests have a memorable dining experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food to restaurant/dining room patrons in a timely, professional, and efficient manner.
• Follow principles of sanitation and safety in handling food and equipment.
• Interact with customers to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Interact with co-workers to comply with company service standards.
• Perform side work as assigned.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous experience in a fast-paced environment preferred. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays. Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Pay

$17 per hour (tipped)

Schedule

Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays. Specific hours will be determined during the interview process.
