About The Job

The primary purpose of this position is to deliver specialized nursing support across a diverse portfolio of pediatric clinical research, with a focus on endocrine clinical trials and collaborative multi-center studies. Working in accordance with regulatory standards, institutional policies, and sponsor guidelines, this role ensures seamless protocol execution and high-quality participant care. The RN will also provide nursing expertise across other pediatric subspecialties on an as-needed basis to support department-wide research operations.

Responsibilities

• Conducting participant assessments
• Administering investigational products and study-related procedures
• Coinciding and collecting research specimens
• Facilitating participant recruitment and enrollment
• Supporting study start-up activities
• Extracting and reporting study data
• Responding to data queries
• Ensuring protocol compliance throughout the conduct of clinical research studies

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree plus at least four years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree plus at least two years of relevant experience, or a combination of education and relevant work experience to equal at least eight years.
• Current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Minnesota.
• Clinical/bedside nursing experience within the last two years.
• During a typical 8-hour shift, a person in this position may be required to stand up to 2.5 hours, walk up to 2.5 hours (including stairs), reach above shoulders, lift up to 10 pounds above the shoulder, and carry packages across campus at waist level.
