RRI TIO Trainer & Curriculum Program Specialist

About the role

The TIO Trainer & Curriculum Program Specialist develops and provides training and consultation material, delivers training on trauma-informed care, and works closely with the training coordinator.

Responsibilities

  • Develops, provides, disseminates, and updates training and consultation material
  • Delivers training on trauma-informed care
  • Works closely with the training coordinator position to ensure a high-quality experience for all involved

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field
  • At least four years' experience in a related field, or a Master's degree with at least two years' experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge and application of trauma informed practices
  • Highly detail oriented
  • Experience training and developing training content using adult learning techniques and principles
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks with attention to detail, and excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, set boundaries, and meet deadlines
  • Skills with technology used in adult learning (e.g. video editing)
  • Ability to engage with co-workers and community partners for scheduling, event support, and additional administrative requests

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree with 1+ years experience
  • Knowledge or experience with diverse communities/populations; and/or experience applying a diversity, equity, and inclusion lens to work tasks
  • Experience or ability connecting to others in the field for collaborative work
  • Creative, result-oriented, self-starting, willing to learn, and able to manage multiple ongoing projects
  • Seeks new learning and integrates this into work routines and projects
