RPN - Emergency Mental Health (ERMH)
Position Summary
Reporting to the Clinical Manager, Inpatient Mental Health, ER Mental Health Triage and the Medication Clinic, and Spiritual Care, the successful applicant will be responsible for comprehensive nursing care in the ER Mental Health Program and must meet the following criteria:
Mandatory Qualifications
- Current certificate of registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Current B.C.L.S. Certificate
- Nonviolent crisis intervention certificate required to obtain in orientation
- CBT & Interpersonal Theory training preferred
- Current (2 years) experience in Mental Health Nursing

- Demonstrated commitment to quality patient care and experience in patient education
- Member of RPNO an asset
- Excellent attendance record
- Excellent organizational skills
- Must be able to function within your full scope of practice as a RPN
- Reliable individual with excellent attendance record and able to work all shifts, including weekends and holidays
