Routing Supervisor

About the role

The Routing Supervisor plays a crucial role in ensuring efficient food distribution within Performance Food Group. They oversee the routing of deliveries to ensure timely and accurate service to customers.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the routing of deliveries to meet customer needs and company standards.
• Monitor delivery schedules and adjust routes as necessary to maintain efficiency.
• Ensure all deliveries are made on time and accurately.
• Communicate with drivers and dispatchers to resolve any issues related to deliveries.
• Manage inventory levels and coordinate restocking efforts.
• Train new drivers and provide ongoing support to improve their performance.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for data analysis.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.
• Experience with transportation management systems (TMS).
• Knowledge of food industry regulations and best practices.

Skills

• Ability to work independently and under pressure.

• Good computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office.

Pay
